OUR WORK

We collaborate with ethnic communities across Aotearoa to provide education, resources, and pathways that empower women, youth, and vulnerable groups to lead fulfilling lives and contribute to a more inclusive society.

The Fire Project

The FIRE Project by Aotearoa Ethnic Communities Trust supports marginalised women in rural Pakistan with hands-on training in knitting, stitching, and embroidery.

Led by local women, the project helps build confidence, skills, and financial independence. Their handmade products are sold online to raise funds and sustain the programme.

Shop with purpose. Support women. Spark change.

Community Workshops

Community Workshops offer practical, culturally grounded education through a mix of online webinars, virtual sessions, and mobile workshops in local neighbourhoods. Designed to meet people where they are, these workshops provide safe, supportive spaces to build knowledge and confidence.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower ethnic communities across Aotearoa by providing access to education, resources, and opportunities that foster resilience, leadership, and long-term wellbeing.

By working in partnership with local organisations and community leaders, we aim to create stronger, more connected communities where every individual has the chance to thrive and lead a future of their own making.
