Fire Women Empowerment Project
Aotearoa Ethnic Communities Trust has been helping marginalized communities, and economically disadvantaged women via workshops, projects, and training programs to attain their rights, future aspirations, and achieve financial freedom.
The Aotearoa Ethnic Communities Trust is building digital and face-to-face platforms to help these communities. The name of this project is called the Fire Community Development and Women Empowerment Project (FIRE).
This project (FIRE) is established in the Pakistani village named Youngsonabad which is located 2-hour drive from the main city Lahore.
FIRE is training and supporting the women in the remote villages. The women leaders are teaching the women recruits basic skills related to knitting, stitching, and embroidery etc.
The products made by the village women are displayed on the online store to raise funds for the project. Please go to our online shop to make a purchase.
